Following some days of rain, which was continuing in the morning, the difficult decision was made early on the day, to cancel. Fortunately, most of the registered walkers were able to be contacted and told of the cancellation.
Some walkers may remember twelve months ago, when the same walk was aborted at the creek, which was a raging torrent
On such occasions, sometimes there are regrets, when fine weather appears later, as it has today.
However, as I write this about noon, there is thunder occurring, and no one wants to be caught in a thunderstorm in the Bush! Better luck next year!
