19 November - AGM and Picnic at Bobbin Head

The AGM
President Barbara opened the meeting on time at 11.00am. The Minutes from last year's AGM and the Treasurer's report had been circulated and were accepted.
Barbara noted apologies, read a note from HVB Honorary Life Member Anne E and then in her own report thanked the the Walks Sub-Committee Members for arranging complete Friday walks programs whenever such activities were sanctioned by the NSW Government. The Club has welcomed a pleasing number of new members in the last year.

Barbara then handed the meeting over to Bert, for the election of Officers and Committee Members.

Bert was pleased to announce that the number of nominations exactly matched the number of positions to be filled. There was therefore no need to hold an election and he advised that the new Committee would be as follows:

President: Barbara R, Vice President: Michael, Secretary: John G, Treasurer Don B.
Ordinary members. Anne R, Lyndy, Anne G, Hazel, Mary, Pete.

These members were welcomed by general acclamation..

Barbara, resuming the Chair,welcomed Hazel as a new Committee Member.
And  thanked the members of the Walks Sub-committee, Convenor: Bert, Members: Robyn Mi, Jill, Ros, Lyn, Celia and Peter who worked tirelessly to reimagine the Program in extremely trying circumstances, .

Following the closure of the AGM, 69 people applied themselves to the task of eating and catching-up whilst socially distancing.
