7 walkers set out on the Salvation Circuit Track around Salvation Creek where we discovered that many Leptospermum Squarrosum (Peach Flowered Tea Trees) were in bloom. Also along the firetrail were flowering gum trees. and a few grevillea bushes. We had morning tea at the Salvation Loop Picnic Area before driving to the Resolute Picnic Area.
We stopped for some time at the long sandstone overhang of the Red Hands Cave Rock Art Site before completing the bushtrack up to West Head Lookout and the views over Barrenjoey Head, Pittwater, Lion Island and Brisbane Waters National Park. Here we met up with the Regular walkers. Returning to the picnic area and lunch we met up with them again and finally had to chase them away from the coffee shop.
A variety of flowers and botanical specimens were observed along the track including a flowering gum and a tea tree

Robyn M stands out in the bush and did this leader of the Regular Walk loose her flock or her way at West Head?
Red Hands Cave perhaps?
