Thirty five eager walkers met at the start of the All Together Entrance circuit walk. It was an on and off day: showers were on and off, as was rain gear. We set off in good weather, admiring the lake and its bird life.
Thirty three people listening intently!
Up the path to ‘the entrance’, past the pool, around the rocks, to the first beach walk.

Morning tea was at Blue Bay, with great ocean views.
Further along the beach walk, at Toowoon Bay, there was a wonderful combination of colours in sea and sky.

Then came our first shower, but only to Shelley Beach.
Shelley Beach to Bateau Bay
A short street walk across the peninsula led us to the broad lakeside path, which we shared with bike riders . We noted continuing efforts by the council to improve the area, including filtering run-off and regeneration. Lunch was at THE long jetty, including a stroll on the jetty itself, and viewing the historical photos.
Some walkers chose to eat at tables and chairs while others reclined taking in the view

Back to the cars, and coffee en plein air, and a further shower after we left. A very enjoyable day.
