We enjoyed a very pretty walk on an overcast day through rainforest complete with beautiful ferns, lovely trees, palms mosses and fungi. We followed the Waterman's Walk initially, stopping at Seymour Pond for morning tea. Then we continued to Toomey’s Walk slowly ascending to St John’s Lookout where we had lunch. After lunch we made our way back down to the
cars via the Graves Walk.
This would have completed a perfect day, unfortunately though, we spent a lot of our time, salt in hand, trying to get rid of the leeches which seemed to like us very much! Some suffered more than others and Barrie, Don W, Kevin and Faye were badly affected.
However, overall it was a most pleasant walk which just got better when we reached our coffee reward, at the Bamboo Buddha Café.

....and back at the lunch table, time is divided between eating and leech tracking. Sue F seems to have found something; Barrie definitely has.
