What lovely people we Hill View Bushwalkers are! In perfect weather, 27 of us walked the America Bay track from West Head Road through the bush and, crossing a small creek, we ended up on a rock-platform with some impressive views overlooking the Bay. We had our morning tea then made our way back, sidetracking to some aboriginal engravings – a woman and a whale and some smaller animals, then back to the cars.

We drove back a little way to the Topham track, a fire trail which took us to our lunch spot with a lovely view over Refuge Bay, a 4 km return trip.
