We met at 9.00 am under a darkening sky with a forecast of showers. We apologised to Anne R. who did not receive the Walk Advisory Form which
had advised the earlier start time.
We were 18 members which gave us a range of walkers from social strollers to tough scramblers. So the harder sections were described
i.e. Box Head and Lobster Beach. Members then decided what they wished to do when they arrived at them.
At morning tea, we enjoyed some great views from the top of the ridge until a shower caught us. Fortunately, for the rest of the walk, the
weather was just warm and humid.
The track to Box Head gradually deteriorates so some members only walked part of it whilst others enjoyed a closer view at its end across to Lion
Island, Barrenjoey and Broken Head Bay.

The whole group then came together to walk to Wagstaff where members decided whether to go over the ridge and down to Lobster Beach, lunch on
top of the ridge or go straight down to Pretty Beach.
Just what was in Nick's water bottle?
Finally, we all met up at Hardys Bay for a coffee, a milk shake or both
