Today's Plus walk started at Cheltenham Station on a cool but sunny winter's morning. We followed Devlin's Creek to the Lane Cove River where it joined the Great North Walk.
The track was still very muddy in places so care was needed especially on the creek crossings. We passed Whale Rock just before the junction with the GNW & then headed
south passing Brown's Waterhole and stopping at some rocks on the track for morning tea.

From here we went along the track past De Burghs Bridge, Blue Hole and some interesting rock formations to walk beside the river to The Weir in Lane Cove Park. It was still
closed after being damaged by the heavy rains so after a pleasant lunch at picnic tables nearby we went along the road a short distance before going under Fullers Bridge
to find the River to Rail track which leads through the Ferndale Loop track and up the Hill to Chatswood Station

Most people then stopped for a coffee & post walk chat at the station coffee shop before taking their respective trains or Metro home. Thanks to my co-leader Wendy & tail
enders Deidre & Barbara as well as everyone else who came along -it was a lovely day & great walk!
Walkers with Wendy C & Celia were Polly, Christine G, Carol, Steve, Claude, Sheila, Pragati, Barbara R, Deidre & Cleona.
