2017 06 09 Soc LynWith the weather forecast being ominous an alternative route to 'Cooks River' was arranged. We had BLUE SKIES throughout the walk and NOT ONE DROP OF RAIN.
Four of us set off from Central by light rail, alighting at the Convention Centre. From there we wandered down to Darling Harbour, and past the Pyrmont wharf to for a late morning tea/lunch. There were no crowds to avoid, just installations for Vivid. Our snack was eaten in the sun with the masts of boats as a backdrop and the harbour wide before us.
We returned to Pyrmont Wharf and caught the ferry to the Circular Quay where we had coffee while musing on the vagaries of the weather and the pleasant walk we’d had.

Walkers: Pat U and Noel (pictured) and leaders Lyn and Dawn.

(For all those alert HVBers - Dawn replaced Mary as co-leader on this walk. Helen A was the replacement for Dawn as co-leader of the cancelled Regular walk.)
