Where the Georges River flows into Botany Bay.
Lady Robinsons Beach is the stretch of beach between the mouth of the Cooks River and the mouth of Georges River on the western shore of Botany Bay.

Houses along The beach side of The Grand Parade were a varied lot. A lot of them dated from the late 1960s-early 70s; many seemed to reflect their owner's interests.

Lady Robinson's husband was Governor of NSW from 1872 to 1879.
Before then he served as Governor of Ceylon and of Hong Kong. After his NSW term he was Governor of Fiji, New Zealand and the Cape Colony (twice).
