Our walk today commenced at Lake Park Rd Narrabeen. Our happy Hill View Walkers (25 of us) started out with lots of energy and walked along the coast enjoying the spectacular views to Warriewood.

In a first for the Club, due to an unusually low tide, we were able to walk straight from Warriewood Beach, around the headland to Mona Vale Beach, and continue along the beach to morning tea at the far end.  Being a very warm day, we were relieved to find some shade and partake of some refreshments and a bit of a chat…and rest.  We were joined by 2 more walkers and continued on past Bungan Beach and then to Newport.

There is a 30m pool and another smaller pool suitable for children. At high tide, these pools are surrounded by water and it can be a bit hard to swim due to the waves. Photographers love to take pictures of this awesome pool.

A unanimous decision was taken to end the walk there as many of us were suffering from the heat.  We enjoyed some lunch together and then caught a bus back to the cars and a well-deserved coffee.
