Our walk today commenced at Lake Park Rd Narrabeen. Our happy Hill View Walkers (25 of us) started out with lots of energy and walked along the coast enjoying the spectacular views to Warriewood.

In a first for the Club, due to an unusually low tide, we were able to walk straight from Warriewood Beach, around the headland to Mona Vale Beach, and continue along the beach to morning tea at the far end. Being a very warm day, we were relieved to find some shade and partake of some refreshments and a bit of a chat…and rest. We were joined by 2 more walkers and continued on past Bungan Beach and then to Newport.

Mona Vale Headland view The Mona Vale Rock Pool sits at the Northern end of Mona Vale Beach and is situated on a rock platform. There is a 30m pool and another smaller pool suitable for children. At high tide, these pools are surrounded by water and it can be a bit hard to swim due to the waves. Photographers love to take pictures of this awesome pool.
Shall we go down to Bungan Beach No Bungan Beach today

A unanimous decision was taken to end the walk there as many of us were suffering from the heat. We enjoyed some lunch together and then caught a bus back to the cars and a well-deserved coffee.

18 walkers set off from Pearl Beach after being fortified with coffees!
We started with a nice long climb!
Very hot, but a nice breeze during the morning.
We had morning tea near the spectacular Warrah Lookout
A great view to contemplate!
Gathering around the Warrah Trig.
Those who had not done this walk before were most impressed by the spectacular views at the Warrah lookout & Trig & even more impressed by the spectacular panorama seen from our lunch spot at the amazing Elephant Rock! Those of us who had done this walk previously couldn’t help but be impressed again by the beautiful water views!
Elephant Rock - a bare, sundrenched bit of smooth raock, with plenty of photo ops.
