Our longish train trip was rewarded at Cronulla by spectacular views over Gunnamatta Bay on one side of the peninsula and north and south along the coast on the other. Despite brilliant sunshine on the blue ocean and the white breaking waves, a keen wind discouraged any thoughts of a springtime celebratory paddle and we settled for CoffeeO at Surfeit. We had Chris W to thank for suggesting the walk. All agreed it was a perfect day and it was lovely to welcome back Elizabeth after her long rehabilitation.
