Four walkers set off to walk to Apple Tree Bay. On part of the Birrrawanna Loop track we climbed up to Cockle Creek Lookout where we had morning tea
The track continued along the ridge and across a fern filled gully to the Regional Office. From there we went down to Apple Tree Bay and along the Berowra track to the Ku-Ring-Gai track turn off. We saw the terraces where the old Woodnuts Boatshed used to be.

We then returned to Apple Tree Bay for lunch, where we were joined by Bert M. We returned to Bobbin Head along the road for coffee at Bobbin Inn.
