In perfect weather conditions 7 walkers started out from Oatley Station and, after some street walking, we entered the bush. We walked along past ponds and mangroves, pretty bottle brush and some wild flowers, stopping for morning tea at Lime Kiln wetlands.
We walked on, stopping next at Jew Fish Bay for lunch, very peaceful and quite lovely to look at. After lunch and some pleasant chatter with each other and walkers from another club, we climbed some stairs, past the castle, through
Oatley Park and back to the station, stopping at BittonCafe for coffee (and more chat). A most enjoyable day was had by all.
