On a warm but rather hazy morning 28 walkers set off from Tamarama to firstly view the Sculptures by the Sea Exhibition on the way to Bondi. From there after morning tea at Bondi Beach we started the walk proper heading north. After some road walking we were able to access the cliff walk which took us via Dover Heights and Diamond Bay with some stunning views along the coastline. By lunch time the smoke haze had all but cleared with the sea breeze giving us some relief from the sun, as we enjoyed a lunch break at Clarke Reserve overlooking the ocean. From there it was a beautiful downhill cliff walk to Watsons Bay and coffee at the wharf. Most people decided to end a very enjoyable day by taking a relaxing ferry trip back to the city rather than the bus.
