Today's EZY walk was one of quickly making decisions and from start to finish changing the planned walk. However not a problem as Hill View walkers as usual are always extremely adaptable and helpful. We had a walk along the Turner Road Firetrail and had morning tea overlooking the Berowra Waters Valley before returning to cars and driving to the Kalkari Centre.
We had intended to have a walk through the Centre and animal enclosure followed by a walk down to Bobbin Head. However we found the centre was closed.
After some discussion a decision was made not to descend the Birrawanna Track to Bobbin Head because of HVB's covid 19 instructions not allowing us to arrange a car shuffle.
So we ended up driving to Bobbin Head where we met up by chance with Clive, Celia, Claude and John Mence who were checking the October Grosvenor/Murrua/Gibberagong Circuit walk.
As John did not wish to walk any further the timing was perfect as one of our EZY walkers offered to give him a lift home.
We finally completed our walk over the boardwalk to the Aboriginal Carvings as far as the Gibberagong junction before returning to Bobbin Head for lunch where John
joined us for coffee at the Bobbin Head Inn.
Jill and Rhondda led eight other walkers Susan, Andy and Sue, Cherry, Dennis, Rosemary and Kevin and David W-G.
