Nineteen people gathered in rainy conditions at the western end of Wentworth Falls lake park.
The lake was formed in 1878 when a dam was built across Jamison Creek to provide water for the steam trains. We walked along the bike track to the viewing platform.
We then returned to the park for morning tea at the covered barbecue area. Because the weather conditions had not improved, we decided not to complete the circuit of the lake. We had coffee at Schwarz’s bakery.
