Who’d have thought it? A blue sky morning after days of rain and why did not one drop of rain fall all day? Because 26 walkers were all carrying rain gear of course.
Our first destination was Refuge Rock with its well concealed deep slot on the outer edge. We side-stepped crab-like through the slot to the arch of the London Bridge rock formation.
A short repositioning of cars and we were into the delights of the Callicoma Track.
Coachwood Grotto for lunch was renamed Leech Grotto, and a few of the little devils ended up on the floor of Oliver Brown’s Café where staff kept smiling even while mopping up the bloody mess.
