Harbour view from Observatory Hill under dramatic skies
Nineteen walkers walked in overcast but fine conditions from Wynyard Station, along York Street, past St Phillips Church and under the Western Distributor.

We continued up past Fort Street School and The Observatory, until we reached Observatory Hill Park where we stopped for morning tea. We enjoyed the view over the harbour and each other's company for a bit, before moving on to Argyle Street and Barangaroo Reserve.

Some of our walkers were treated to a history lesson about the very interesting Argyle Lane (ask Sue Fairclough) and we proceeded through the Reserve and on to The Cutaway. Along the way we could see the VIVID displays and machinery, probably much more spectacular at night, but interesting just the same.

We walked on to SAX Cafe, our coffee destination, for good coffee, snacks and conversation, before heading home.
