Our walk today started from Circular Quay with 23 keen, if rather chilly, walkers. We caught the ferry across to Rose Bay with dark clouds and rain threatening. We proceeded through Rose Bay Park and headed onwards along Seven Shillings Beach to the Murray Rose Pool where we had morning tea. With light rain falling we continued on past Double Bay, Darling Point to Yarranabbe Park and then on to Rushcutters Bay.

This was mainly street-walking with lovely views of the harbour and interesting buildings along the way…some rather gorgeous mansions to smaller cottages and terraces.

We continued through Woolloomooloo ......

and eventually reached our coffee destination, The Calyx, Leaf Cafe, Royal Botanical Gardens, where we enjoyed lunch and a nice chat before making our way home in sunshine!
Our walkers were Anne G, Anne R, Annette Ell, Audrey, Bert, Carol, Christine G, Christine S, Claude de, Cleona, Colleen, David S, Deidre, Don B, Dorin, Mary, Phyllis, Theresa, Vreni, Trevor, Grace (3rd walk).
Tail end was Don B and first aider Trevor O.
