Lyndy was kind enough to lead the walkers from Chatswood Station to Rouse Hill to save Sue or myself the extra journey as we live in the hills.

There were 13 walkers today on our Ezy Walk.  We caught the 617 bus to Rouse Hill Public School where we started our walk.  Walking past the historical Aberdoon House a Colonial Georgian Cottage typical of the early settlement in Rouse Hill.  We crossed the road and had morning tea in William Harvey Reserve.

After morning tea we continued our walk along streets with bush on one side and some very nice houses on the other.  Crossing Withers Road and crossing Caddies Creek.  We turned into the paved path on the left and walked along the grassed area beside Water Control Basin, this is a great place to see water birds and ducks.

At the end of the grassed area we turned left where we continued walking beside the lake.  We took a turnoff to our left to look at the Weir.  This Weir was built to prevent flooding in the area.

We turned left to walk along Harvard Circuit to Maria Iori Park where we had an early lunch.  Turning left again at the end of the park onto Mile End Road, we walked past the Rouse Hill Water Recycling Plant which Sue says is the largest recycling plant in Australia treating 1.7 billion litres of water each year.

Walked to Withers Road and crossed at the traffic lights back to the bus stop for our trip back to Rouse Hill where we have coffee.  Most people then went onto the station for their trip home.

We had beautiful weather and we finished early due to the ease of the walk.
