In perfect warm and sunny weather, 47 members attended the annual general meeting and picnic at Bobbin Head in the Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park.
The President, Nick Speyer, extended thanks to Peter Reddick, who has stepped down from the Committee and the role of webmaster, and to Christine Ji-Seitan, who relinquished the role of Secretary.
Nick Baines has joined the Committee. Phyliss Heggie did not nominate to continue as Vice President and the role remains vacant.

The revised Constitution of HVB (made necessary by NSW Fair Trading regulations) was adopted and will be made available on the website.
It was reported that planning is under way for both the 25th Anniversary Event (27 March 2026) and the weekend away at Bundanoon (28-30 August 2026).
As a reminder, HVB will celebrate its 25th anniversary as an independent club in 2026. The Walks Sub-Committee has planned three walks to conclude simultaneously at the Auluba Reserve in Kissing Point Rd. South Turramurra, where a celebration event will be held. HVB was originally formed at Hillview House in South Turramurra under the auspices of the NSW Health Dept, which ceased any involvement in 2001. The Secretary requested that assistance in organising the event would be welcome. Please contact the Secretary if you are able to help with some of the logistics.
Members were also encouraged to finalise accommodation for the weekend away if they have not already done so.
A reminder that the draft programme for the 2026 first semester is now on the website. Almost all walk leader positions have now been filled following the AGM.
With business concluded, the members enjoyed a picnic lunch and BBQ, the event wrapping up after a couple of hours.
