Rain falling as we awoke cleared before we began our walk for a beautiful day. We met at the end of the walk and car shuffled to the start. The walk was in two loops. The first loop followed Gordon Creek down to Middle Harbour Creek till we had views of Roseville Bridge. We then followed Moore’s Creek upstream and joined Little Diggers Track passing a couple of waterfalls.

From there we had some street walking but it was mostly small laneways connecting the roads till we got to Lindfield Oval. Here we had morning tea and some fun on the flying fox.

The second loop was a short walk back to our earlier track beside Gordon Creek and followed this for some time. But this time we turned left and crossed the creek on stepping stones and joined the track on the other side heading for Middle Harbour Creek again. We found some rocks looking out over Middle Harbour Creek for our lunch spot which we shared with several leeches.

As we continued we crossed a couple of creeks and a mangrove swamp and passed a small waterfall.

There was a fairly indistinct track off to the left which led up a ridge to the Kimberley Fire Trail. This track required some rock scrambling to reach the top. The fire trail brought us back to our cars for the reverse car shuffle and off to a well-earned coffee at Dukes Green Café.
