"Seven walkers set out on the regular walk from Long Reef to Manly on a beautiful sunny & warm day, with less humidity than has been experienced recently.
The walk route took in:
Long Reef Point, Long Reef & Dee Why beaches, the coastal track between Dee Why & North Curl Curl, Curl Curl & Freshwater beaches and finally The Esplanade from Queenscliff to North Steyne.
Coastal vistas along the way were spectacular with a big surf running and a number of beaches closed to swimmers.
Morning Tea was taken at Dee Why Park and lunch at Freshwater Park with the final coffee stop at Beach Salt at North Steyne
We thought we may have seen an Osprey above us between South Curl Curl & Freshwater but otherwise the fauna were without note.

- as ever, towering head and shoulders above us all.
