On a perfect walking day 9 of us set off from Bobbin Head to walk up to Kalkari.
Up was the operative word and we had plenty of time to take in the sights on the way both looking down at the water and boats below or around us at regrowth after fire and some magnificent old survivors.

On reaching Kalkari we were enjoying our morning treat when we sighted the regular walkers also enjoying theirs. While they continued on their way we had a brief look in Kalkari, admiring the plants, views and the work done there

We returned downhill for lunch. Something happened to the after lunch plans as we failed to take the planned short walk across the boardwalk and found ourselves in the coffee shop. A pleasant day!
