With not a single walker showing up at Turramurra, the leaders were relieved to find a total of 10 enthusiastic walkers (including 2 visitors) converged at the trackhead ready to tackle the challenges.
A pleasant descent via the Timbergetters Track took us down to Bantry Bay, looking stunning in the morning sun. An hour and some climbing later, we had morning tea on top of the world at The Bluff. From there, the obstacles mounted, with slithering down rocks, scrabbling over some very uneven track and puffing up some substantial rises all taken on with determination and good humour.
Lunch over looking the river from on high provided a welcome break and recharge. The last lap to the Roseville Bridge was mostly downhill, though that
hill up to the bridge and then to the bus stop seemed to get longer as we progressed! The option to do the extra 6 kms through to East Lindfield was politely declined in favour of a well-earned coffee at Chatswood before dispersing to our respective homes.
Challenge met.

A well earned lunch. Robyn takes a break from the burden of leadership.

For the record, Robyn F and Wendy C led Rhonnda, Bill S, Kas, 2 visitors, Celia, Clive and Anne G.
