The first walk of the new year turned out to be on a hot 30ish degree day, fortunately accompanied , at times, by a breeze. Both groups met and started at North Narrabeen, 17 then continuing with the Regular walk.

The sun shone, the ocean sparkled, the conversation flowed, as people renewed contact after the break. Everyone managed admirably with the considerable number of steps and ascents.
We took advantage of a little shade, and good views, shortly before Warriewood, for morning tea. Then more beaches, more headlands, and great views. At the final hurdle of Bungan Beach, a few took the alternative road route. Then on to Newport, lunch, and bus back to the cars, and coffee
