17 walkers met at Huntley's Point ferry wharf to walk along the suburban foreshore to Wollstonecraft Station. The first part of the day was street walking in a northerly direction through Huntleys Point and Hunters Hill – we went under the Gladesville Bridge and then over the Tarban Creek Bridge and the Fig Tree Bridge. We had morning tea in Linley Point park. The walk proceeded east around the foreshore of Burns Bay and then along Riverview Road past St Ignatius college. Unfortunately, we could not go along the river at this point, as the college has closed this route to the public during school terms.

We were then able to trek through the pretty bushland along the Tambourine Bay foreshore. After some steep steps and a little more street walking through Longueville, we were rewarded with some great views of the Harbour Bridge. We then descended to some more foreshore walking along Woodford Bay behind Arabella Street. This led to some more steep steps and street walking north through Northwood. We then scrambled down a small reserve at Endeavour playgrounds where the last part of the descent for some of us was a slippery
dip.

Next was a long southerly descent off Fleming Street through Gore Creek Reserve back to the river and to our lunch spot at Bob Campbell Oval. We continued to follow the Gore Creek Reserve bush trail along the river to Ford Street Greenwich. After a steep incline an,d a bit more street walking, we entered the final area of bushland off Vista Street. The path was a little degraded in parts but is currently undergoing restoration work by North Sydney council. We headed north along a creek line towards our final destination Wollstonecraft Station.
We were very glad to enjoy coffee and mango smoothies at the café next to the station
