05 May: EZY Walk: Lane Cove – Boronia Park to Epping Road via Buffalo Creek

10  walkers caught a bus from the Macquarie Centre to Boronia Park in Hunters Hill where we were joined by 3 more walkers.

 

We walked to a picnic area in the park to have morning tea.

We then walked to an access track to the Lane Cove Valley Walk from Barons Crescent to avoid a very rough section of the track at the start of the scheduled walk.

After a tricky descent

we enjoyed pleasant walking beside the Lane Cove River.

Lunch was taken at Magdala Park, before walking up Magdala Road for coffee at the North Ryde RSL Club.

Returning to Magdala Park we continued on crossing over the Lane Cove River to arrive at Epping Road, where the group caught buses to either Chatswood or Epping
