10 enthusiastic walkers set out by train & unfortunately just missed the ferry connection by 3 minutes due to the North Shore train schedule being out of whack!! No problem, however as we caught the next ferry & had a lovely trip with the massive Queen Victoria viewed in the background. [With old-timers to the starboard and port: HVBer Lawrie and 19th Century warehouses.]
Beautiful day for walking with cloud cover in the morning & a lovely breeze most of the time!
Enjoyed the scenic Hermitage Foreshore Track, Neilson & Vaucluse Parks, historic Strickland House, with a restful lunch in Parsley Bay. Mislaid one walker who was soon retrieved & one walking pole, also retrieved!
Two walkers departed at Watson’s Bay for various reasons while the remaining 8 continued to Camp Cove & South Head passing the Hornby Lighthouse.
Beautiful views and an enjoyable day with welcome milkshakes & iced coffees at Circular Quay!
