After a long, interesting bus trip we alighted at Dee Why and walked up towards the cliff overlooking the beach. After morning tea we walked down the path as our eyes busily absorbed the view of ocean, sand, pool, board riders, a few swimmers and sunbathers. Our eyes (and tongues) continued their busy work as we proceeded along the promenade amongst a variety of other folk and their dogs all enjoying the day. No-one volunteered to go for a swim as there were definite currents in the water.
At the end of the beach we started on the track between beach and lagoon. A large puddle blocked the way. Here, two people continued a little further while Ray found a little bauble or two to decorate some fellow walkers.
Returning to the seafront, we found a suitable seat for lunch in the shade. Feeling chilly after a while we stood in the sun before proceeding to a nearby coffee shop for the traditional conclusion to an enjoyable day.
