No less than thirteen hardy souls turned up for a suburban/bushwalk on a day of dodgy weather. Overnight rain soaked everything and on again/off again showers had us donning and doffing raincoats between showers. .

However good spirits prevailed (and there was no repeat of the Castle Hill Rebellion!)

At lunch, we had sunshine, rain and sunshine in unequal measures
We saw large homes, Castle Hill Creek, Castle Hill Showground {the home of Pavilion Theatre] and Heritage Park- the 1801 convict settlement and farm, now a pleasant picnic area with interpretive signage.
Fred Caterson Reserve presented us with wet bush and sport fields. Then our track led us past the Showground and parking complex for Showground Station.
Along the way we threw a ball for a friendly Kelpie and cheered on two boys on bikes at the BMX track.
Coffee was enjoyed by ten at Castle Hill shopping centre {Scenario}.
