Ten walkers met at Kurnell for a mid-morning coffee debrief at “1770 Bakery” attended by Don B (tailender), Celia, Janet, Rick, Leah, David S, William H, Hazel, myself and my visiting brother Jean Marie P.
Cape Solander was reached swiftly for an early break and viewing of the Tasman Sea.....................
..............Bailey Lighthouse at 12 noon..........
.............lunch was set at the spectacular Boat Harbour Marina around 12.45. We managed to stroll barefoot in the water to cool down after the sand dune “hard yakka” passage.
Due to a very strong tail wind “North Easterly Buster”, we reached Elouera Beach Club fairly early by 14.15 for a rewarding coffee and chat.
Great weather, great company, what more do you want…. All up, 15.8km (on Rick’s GPS) was recorded.
See you next year!!!!
